Medway High School Registration Information

Medway High School offers academic excellence, innovative arts programs and excellent athletic activities. Every student is different and we are changing the way secondary education is delivered in order to meet their academic needs.

Current Medway students should go directly to this Medway Course Selection Link. This includes grade specific course selection guidelines and planning sheets.

Students not currently registered at Medway should work through the Steps below

1. New to Medway Students start here

Grade 8 students in TVDSB schools

Use our Find My Local School tool to determine your designated "IN AREA" school for 2025-26. You can also see area French Immersion and Tech Emphasis schools, if one of these programs is of interest to you.

In most cases: Centennial Central, Oxbow, Parkview, and Wilberforce addresses are IN AREA for Medway.

Valleyview, West Nissouri, Delware Central: some addresses are IN AREA for Medway, and other addresses require an Out of Area Request form.

Jack Chambers, Stoney Creek and Cedar Hollow are now OUT OF AREA for Medway High School, however students with older silblings (who are attending Medway on March 31, 2025) can complete Out of Area Request form.

Elementary teachers will help you with your registration and course selection.

2. Pre-registration

If you are not currently in a Medway feeder school you register by either:

Completing the new online registration.

Print out and complete the Student Registration Form and email to the Medway Guidance Department at:

Once your registration has been received, you will be contacted for supporting documentation (proof of address, proof of birthdate etc.).

A Vice-Principal will then contact you to finalize your registration.

3. Out of area instructions

If your designated school is Medway then you are "IN AREA" and can go to step #4. COURSE SELECTION.

If your designated school is NOT Medway High School then you are "OUT of AREA". Click to download this OUT-OF-AREA EXEMPTION REQUEST FORM.

Email the completed form to the Medway Guidance Department at:

4. Course selection

Grade 8 students not in a Medway feeder school

You can use this Medway Course Selection link to review course offerings and descriptions.

Please select your courses with this MEDWAY Grade 9 COURSE SELECTION for out of area student FORM.

Students in grades 9-12

Once you are registered, you can can use this Medway Course Selection Link to help select your courses in grades 10 to 12. This includes grade specific course selection guidelines and planning sheets.

Email your questions and course selections to the appropriate Guidance Counsellor.

5. School bus registration

Students requiring transportation must register to ride each school year through mybigyellowbus.ca.

Learn more about how to register for secondary school.

Out of Area request that are granted for registration to Medway will rarely have transportation.
